Dr. Nisha A. Julien is a Senior Associate, Research & Evaluation at Opportunity Consulting. She is a mixed methods community-centered research and evaluation researcher. She currently works across different projects and sectors like education, workforce development, and other community-based initiatives like strategic planning at Opportunity Consulting. She is passionate about intertwining research and practice to co-construct actionable insights supporting sustainable decision-making, program & system improvements, and community-level changes. Dr. Julien is committed to living out OC values of equity-centered responsiveness that center people's voices where impact and outcomes connect directly to lived experience. Prior to joining Opportunity Consulting, she has held multiple roles in research to senior leadership and board member roles in nonprofit organizations to school-based roles such as a school administrator, coach, and special and general education teacher in New York City. Dr. Julien enjoys reading for fun, biking, and spending time with her loved ones, like her dog.
