
Diandra Best is a senior associate and dedicated advocate for educational equity, bringing over 15 years of expertise in capacity building and systemic reform to her role at Opportunity Consulting. Her career—rooted in her early days as an elementary Special Education teacher—is defined by a steadfast commitment to improving outcomes for diverse learners through evidence-based practices and strategic leadership. As a Senior Education Consultant, Diandra partners with district stakeholders nationwide to navigate complex challenges, including Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), Significant Disproportionality, and Impact Measurement. Her recent work spans from New York City to Texas, where she provided leadership coaching and strategic planning to ensure the fidelity of implementation for district-level teams. Diandra’s unique ability to bridge the gap between high-level policy and school-based practice has consistently increased the efficiency and efficacy of the academic programs she serves. Previously, Diandra held pivotal leadership roles, including Director of Student Support Services for a K-8 charter network and Program Director for a federal early intervention program. She holds a B.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Temple University, a M.Ed. in Special Education from Trinity University, and a Certification in Education Policy and Leadership from the Institute for Educational Leadership. Outside of her professional pursuits, Diandra is a devoted wife and mother of two who finds joy in traveling and family time.
