
Yasamin Gordon (she/her/hers) is the Director of Equity, Inclusion & Culture, where she is responsible for leading equity reviews and client engagements in order to produce the greatest impact, as well as supporting organizational culture and learning. She is a diversity, equity, inclusion (DEI), and social justice policy professional with 20 years of experience leading systems change within organizations in the public education, municipal government, transportation, and non-profit sector. She holds degrees in Social Work and Applied Social Studies and trains others on understanding systemic racism, institutional oppression, equitable policy development, anti-racism advocacy, community outreach, and inclusion practices. Yasamin most recently worked as the Equity Director for a city in New England. She developed new strategies for increased civic engagement and inclusion of diverse voices among municipal board leadership. While there, she improved the voting process to include increased voting opportunities for all residents. Prior to that, she held leadership roles as the Lead DEI Coach and Co-Director of Behavior Systems for one of the largest public school districts in her home state of Vermont. Her passion is working to dismantle oppressive systems and redevelop them to improve lives and increase opportunities for marginalized communities successfully.
